Leadership

Rob Deziel, Executive Director
Washington, DC 

Rob Deziel is the executive director of Alderson in Washington, DC. He is a graduate of Bentley College, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems. Rob began his career at Alderson in 1992 as a network administrator and transcript processor, overseeing the production department and day-to-day operations of the business. He was responsible for implementing all technology including real-time, and created the first ever, online remote database utilizing DiscoveryZX and PCAnywhere technology. Rob has been an expert guest speaker at Georgetown University’s paralegal program on enhanced technologies used by law firms in connection with depositions.


Sales and Business Development

Our philosophy of client service extends beyond the court reporting needs of the moment. We strive for superior service at all times, working with clients from the initial scheduling through the final invoice while always keeping customer needs in mind. When working with Alderson, clients can expect to be assigned to a dedicated account representative who is required to be certified in real-time technologies. Our business development directors are able to provide complimentary training to clients and often attend proceedings as real-time "troubleshooters."


Trish Collins,  Business Development Director 
Washington, DC 

Trish Collins joined Alderson in 2005 as a business development director and DuPont account manager in Washington, DC. She joined Alderson after having previously worked for Special Counsel, Alderson’s sister company. Trish has a legal background featuring work on a variety of medical, pharmaceutical, chemical, and environmental litigation matters. Trish graduated from Pennsylvania State University at Bloomsburg in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She is an active member of the DuPont Women Lawyers Network and also maintains a Massachusetts teaching certificate. Trish taught high school biology, chemistry, and general science in southern Massachusetts for several years before beginning her career in law.

Nicole Davis,  Business Development Director 
Washington, DC 

Nicole Davis joined Alderson’s Washington, DC office in 2000. She has an Associate's degree in Arts and Sciences from Prince George’s Community College and has worked virtually in every department since joining Alderson. Most recently she joined the business development team as a business development director, where she manages cases for multiple clients. Her working knowledge of every department enables her to provide a high level of service and quality assurance to each client.

Christopher J. Gaskill, Jr., Business Development Director 
Washington, DC 

Chris Gaskill is a Business Development Director in Alderson’s Washington D.C. Office. Chris joined the team in the spring of 2005, working first as production coordinator with a focus on quality control and then as Federal Hearings Coordinator serving Alderson’s court, agency and Congressional clients. Before his time at Alderson, Chris was staff assistant to a member of the New Jersey Congressional Delegation. Chris received his Bachelors Degree in Political Science from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.

Michael Cranmer,  Business Development Director 
New York, NY 

Michael Cranmer joined Alderson in 2006 as a business development director in New York City. He is a graduate of Fairfield University and spent twelve years on the trading floor of the American Stock Exchange in New York City as an options specialist/specialist clerk for Cranmer & Cranmer, Inc., as well as LaBranche & Co. In 2004 he joined the A.E. Johnson Employment Agency as a placement counselor, sourcing the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. 


Recruiting

Alderson strives to help clients meet their needs at all times. Our resource development department works with court reporters, videographers, proofreaders, transcriptionists, and other legal professionals in order to meet skill set requirements of all proceedings. As our business development directors are available 24/7 to our clients, the resource development team has the same availability for our legal professionals.


Amy Derr, Senior Recruiting Director 
Washington, DC

Amy Derr is the senior resource development director at Alderson’s Washington, DC location. She began her career with Alderson in 1987, and has since then transitioned into the resource development department. In 1994 Amy left the Washington, DC area and managed administrative functions for various industries including aerospace manufacturing, property management and community associations. Amy rejoined Alderson in 2006. She is a graduate of the College of St. Benedict in Minnesota, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music.


Joe Bradley,  Resources Development Director
Washington, DC 

Joe Bradley joined Alderson’s Washington, DC office in April 2007. He has an Associate's degree in Arts and Sciences from Tunxis Community College. Joe has an extensive court reporting background, having worked in virtually every aspect of the court reporting field. He began his career as an account executive for an advertising agency before moving into court reporting. Joe schedules the Washington, DC market as well as manages Alderson’s transcription department.

Julie Lilleby, Resource Developer
Washington, DC 

Julie Lilleby joined Alderson in 2007 as a resource development director in the Washington, DC office. She has a law degree from Duquesne University and a Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science from Bucknell University. Prior to coming to Alderson, she recruited attorneys for one of the top national law firms. Julie primarily oversees recruitment and scheduling in the national market.
